If you already have a Microsoft 365 (UCI Exchange) account, you can already access Teams from your web browser or by installing the desktop or mobile app. Integration with the Microsoft 365 Suite Copilot is integrated into Microsoft 365 in two ways.You can even create ‘channels’ for certain members of your department, and ‘chat groups’ for people in and out of your department. Teams can show who among your co-workers is currently available to chat or collaborate. Team members can adjust or limit the notifications theyre getting from a channel. Channels can be organized by group, project, feature, or whatever else is relevant to you. A channel is a single place for a team to share messages, tools, and files. You can also use Teams through a web browser. In Teams, teamwork and communication happen in channels. Conversations are persistent and are saved on the ser ver like your email, so you can start a conversation through the Teams desktop app and continue the conversation through the mobile app on your phone. You can communicate one-on-one or with ad hoc groups (similar to a group text message). Teams is part of the Microsoft 365 suite, so it coordinates seamlessly with your calendar and OneDrive.
On the web, go to Sign in with your Microsoft 365 username and password. On Mac, go to the Applications folder and click Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams is more than a chat tool. Start Microsoft Teams by doing one of the following: In Windows, click Start > Microsoft Corporation > Microsoft Teams.
